Calico Hunter Reef Collection:
Designed for calico bass fishing using the techniques described in the article "Calico Fishing 5-5-5" by Larry Heron. Primarily using 4 to 5˝ inch baits with 1/2 to 1.5 oz. jig heads.

Designed for calico bass fishing around structure such as boiler rocks using the techniques described in the article "Calico Combat" by David Fong. Primarily using 5 to 6˝ inch baits with 3/4 to 1.5 oz. jig heads.

Light Tackle Flats & Surf Collection:
From California Halibut and White Seabass along the Southern California surf to Striped Bass up north to Redfish and Speckled Trout in the South East. When they're in shallow and feeding on small baitfish - the 3 inch Big Hammer with a 3/16 to 3/8 oz. jig head and the 4 inch Big Hammer with a 1/4 to 3/8 oz. jig head on light tackle will get the job done.
Primarily designed for light action surf and shallow water fishing in Southern California using the techniques described in the two articles "Swimbait Halibut From the Sand" by Mike Edwards and "Hammering Inshore Halibut" by Pete Wolf.

In Southern California, when white seabass move in shallow around structure, bays, harbors, etc. a great way to fish them with an artificial is to use a 5 to 6˝ inch swimbait with a 1 to 1.5 oz. jig head and a medium slow steady retrieve.
